Little Star is a project of Oorah, a non-profit organization serving the Jewish community for more than three decades. Oorah was established by Rabbi Chaim Mintz, a pioneer in Jewish education and outreach who continues to oversee Oorah’s many important and highly regarded programs. Oorah cares for men, women, and children of all Jewish backgrounds and affiliations, providing for the physical, emotional, and educational needs of our community.

Oorah's simple, straightforward goal is to give Jewish children and their families opportunities to become active and productive members of their community. We accomplish this through our specially developed programs, focusing on education, extracurricular activities, and family enrichment.
